So let's recap #DPCC ,
I know I'm in this weird transition of Twitch Hiatus, and working on Soul On Hold in the background while it's been a bit silent than my normal constant creation.
This con was my third convention tabling, and first not sharing a table with someone.
I was so proud of my setup, and had an absolutely fantastic time. It's exciting how being surrounded by amazing, supportive, and truly skilled artists really boosts your drive. I may be introverted but I also gain my energy from watching others make rad things.
I feel like I learn so much every time, and can't wait for whatever convention for my tabling.
Denver has been so lovely, it has been nothing but a positive experience that really seems to reinforce the decisions I've made to take a break from twitch and shift my focus to art, and especially the comic. I've already got plans for some rad merch coming up, a possible Kickstarter, and of course a BUNCH of fun things that are #SoulOnHold related. Oh and like a bunch of cool things for me as a human person.
Thank you to anyone who stopped by, to the massive amount of strangers who made me feel like a goddess, to the sweethearts who bought merch or laughed at my dumb jokes, to the artists I met, the artists I've known and admired, and the friends who live local who made time to see me, I adore you all.
Life is so strange right now, and my heart was really hurting lately, especially after last week, so this was extremely needed.
I approached this con and trip with minimal makeup, (as much as I love it) and comfy clothes, just to be as much me and as comfortable as possible- and it was a great decision. 💗 I can't wait to come back next year.
