I’ve been thinking about where lots of our accomplishments come from. The answer...Usually from something that we initially fear but we face anyway!
We have all heard the saying “If it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you”. We can use this to direct ourselves on to greater things. If you are nervous about something or have a particular hurdle you just can’t seem to get past, focus on it. Use it as your “MUST accomplish” thing right now. Give it your full attention. Really home in on it. Pull in the support of other people if need be. Do what it takes to get past it.
Chances are, whatever is challenging you really WILL change you and take you up to the next level and you’ll say to yourself “Why on earth didn’t I do that sooner?!” Good news, the mind, like a muscle, will learn, and in future, when you feel the fear or get nervous about something again, you’ll be able to recognise it as a chance to be brave and achieve! H 💫
