(Fall) spice spice baby
Showcasing spices tonight as a means to increase flavour and decrease the “need” for high calorie/high fat sauces and dips!
I use a lil bit of extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) before roasting ‘em. (400F for 30 min)
✔️Brussel sprouts: salt, pepper
✔️Butternut squash: sage, rosemary, cinnamon
✔️Fall spice tofu: ground ginger, cinnamon & nutmeg (marinade of orange juice, maple syrup and apple cider vinegar)
Served on wild rice and spinach 🍃
Top with gala apples and smoked Gouda 👅
